Our open FutureMakers programme brings together the brightest talent from industry and is designed for ambitious, high-potential professionals. Emerging leaders can come from any background and are selected based on their enthusiasm to learn, openness to new ways of thinking, and desire to challenge current ways of working.
The FutureMakers Annual Programme is a 3-month sustainability leadership experience for high potential leaders who want to develop and lead innovative business whilst also making a positive impact in the world. The programme develops the leadership skills of emerging leaders and inspires them work collaboratively and drive positive change through innovation. It provides participants with powerful connections, building their professional networks through a diverse cohort of change agents.
Participants embark on their own leadership journey and develop the skills to drive innovation and lead a truly sustainable business.
What is the programme structure?
The action-focussed programme comprises 5 days of face-to-face learning and spans a 3 month period.
It is structured into 2 key parts:
PART 1: 2.5 day residential programme focusing on leadership purpose, challenges, and innovation for breakthrough
PART 2: 2 day workshop focusing on innovation, business model development, storytelling, and leadership reflections
In addition to these 2 parts, there is also one-hour online webinar, and a process of peer-peer coaching with a designated ‘buddy’ from the programme.
The 3 month programme is made up of 65 hours of continued professional development, broken down into 35 hours of formal face-to-face learning, and an estimated 30 hours of guided learning.
The FutureMakers leadership curriculum includes the following elements:
Leadership insights for a changing world (emerging technological, environmental, economic, and social trends)
A sustainability leadership currciulum
An innovation process to facilitate breakthrough thinking and new business model development
Personal leadership development planning
Peer-peer leadership coaching toolkit
Who should take Part?
The FutureMakers programme is designed for ambitious, high-potential professionals. FutureMakers can come from any background, and are selected based on their enthusiasm to learn, openness to new ways of thinking, and desire to challenge current ways of working.
A bursary place is available for applicants who work for not-for-profit or government organisations.You would be considered a good fit for the programme if you express:
An ambition to lead, and a desire to drive positive outcomes through business
A strong sense of purpose and vision
An appetite to learn about emerging trends affecting business, the environment, and society
An openness to new ways of thinking and tackling problems
A willingness to self-reflect, learn how to get the best from yourself, and develop your own leadership style
A desire to inspire others with your vision, ideas and action
What is the cost?
Cost per person:
Corporate rate (paid by a for-profit business): £4,999 (+VAT)
Not for profit/SME rate/government agency: £2,499 (+VAT)
A bursary place is available for applicants who work for not-for-profit or government organisations.
If your company will not be in a position to financially support your application, and you do not fit the criteria for a bursary place, please contact us and ask to discuss a ‘personal contribution’ to fees.
